Shepherd Lake

Park at the Shepherd Lake public access area off of Talache Road. From there take a right and head south on Talache. Stay on this course and run past East Dufort Road. The road turn to the left almost 90 degrees, and halfway down the straight stretch there is a road to the right directly after a driveway. Run up this road and through the Forest Service gate, follow the road to the top. It is a good hill climb up to the top, then follow your steps back down. Great views at the top!
