Angie Brass resigns as assistant coach07/29/2010 After 5 seasons with the Sandpoint High School Bulldog Cross Country program, Angie Brass has decided to step down as assistant coach. She has had a very successful and rewarding tenure, bet over the past few months has felt the need to resign in order to spend more time with her children. The rigors of coaching are year round, and all of the hours the job requires have made it increasingly difficult to coach along with being a parent and providing enough time for her family.
Angie has given tirelessly of herself these past 5 seasons. She has established new traditions has always made sure that every t is crossed and i is dotted. She has been a caring mentor and knowledgeable coach, leading by example and words to establish an excellence that is required to excel in both this sport and life. Her commitment to excellence never wavered, and was apparent to all those around her. All of us on the Sandpoint Cross Country team, both current and alumni, would like to thank Angie for her dedication and tireless commitment.
The search has begun for a new assistant for the 2010 season. Once the position is filled, it will be posted here.

inspirations
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired. When you were younger the mind could make you dance all night, and the body was never tired...You've always got to make the mind take over and keep going.
