Middleton Invitational

The Sandpoint Boys Varsity won the Middleton Invitation. There were three teams in the tri-meet including state bubble team Kuna by a score of 39 to 40. Middleton was 3rd with 43. The Bulldogs were led by Tim Householter who ran a 17:00 for 5th on the flat fast course. Danny Pfeifer was 6th with a 17:10, Tony Charvoz ran a 17:02, Matt Sisson 8th with a 17:34, Jerry Prummer 9th with 17:37, and Galen MacDonald rounded out the top 5 with a 17:53.

The girls team took 2nd behind the first place effort of Megan Bartlett. Megan ran the course in an 18:04, followed by Kat Vardell in 6th with a 19:45, then Molly Burgstahler at 10th with a 20:12, Hope Woodruff was 18th with 22:46, and Vicky Vardell was 20th with a 22:58. The team scores were Kuna with a 20, Sandpoint with a 54 and Middleton with a 55.
