Megan Bartlett wins state 4A title

Megan Bartlett won the girls 4A state cross country title today. She cruised the flat course in Idaho Falls in a time of 18:29, beating the 2nd place finisher by 27 seconds and moving to within 4 seconds of the school record. The girls finished 6th with a score of 181. Kat Vardell was 26th, Rebecca Johnson was 32nd, Karina Olson was 71st, and Vicky Vardell was 72nd for the top 5. (full results)
The boys team placed 12th overall, paced by David Householter's 29th place, 17:46 finish. Sam Sisson ran an 18:45, Danny Pfeifer ran a 18:46, Tim Householter ran a 19:01, and Tony Charvoz a 19:06 for the top 5.
