The course fast flat and fast, and the Sandpoint girls took 2nd at the Sandpoint Invite behind Lake City this weekend. Megan Bartlett moved within 17 seconds of the school record. She ran an 18:42 on her way to a second place finish. Kat Vardell ran a strong 20:42, placing 6th. Rebecca Johnson was 13th, Vicky Vardell was 18th, Crystal Crawford was 22nd, Karina Olson was 23rd and Karlee Hergenreder was 28th.
For the boys team, David Householter set the pace, running a 17:26 and placing 9th. Sam Sisson was 21st, Tim Householter 27th, Tony Charvoz 28th, Jesse Javana 33rd, Riley Millar 35th and Kevin Clyde 49th to pace the boys to a 4th place finish.
