Silverwood Coaster Cross

The Sandpoint girls took second place at the Silverwood Coaster Cross out of a very competitive field of 21 teams this weekend. Anchored by outstanding running by Megan Bartlett (2nd), Kat Vardell (10th) and Rebecca Johnson (14th), Sandpoint took second to Borah and was able to outdistance Moscow who took third.
In the boys race, Sandpoint had 11 boys under 20 minutes, and placed 9th out of 21 teams. David Householter ran a 17:58 to lead the Bulldog squad, followed closely by Sam Sisson (18:10) and Tim Householter (18:26).
The JV boys took 3rd and the JV girls took 6th.
