Girls 2nd at Farragut Invite

The Sandpoint girls took 2nd at the Farragut Invitational this weekend by four points behind a strong Lake City team. Megan
Bartlett came from behind in the last 200 meters to beat CDAs Anna Stone at the finish line in an amazing finish. Her time was a 19:46.
Vicky Vardell continued to move up, placing 5th with a time of 21:29. Rebecca Johnson was 11th, Christing Miller 13th, Ali Miller 18th
and Bailey Hein was 22nd. Kat Vardell was still out this weekend, but she has started running with the team this weekend and should
be back by regionals at the latest.

The Sandpoint boys also ran well, although they only ran five in the race after Adrian Miller and Tim Householter got sick the day of the
race and Sam Sisson injured his back last week. Steve Teran and David Householter continued to run strong, placing 10th and 11th respectively
with times of 18:02.5 and 18:02.8. Jim VanEssen was 31st, Zeb Smith was 33rd and Chris Dunham was 42nd. All of them ran very well on the
difficult course and we should be at full power by next weekend.

The Sandpoint girls JV won their meet with Candice Chapin leading the way with a 11th place finish. Kristina Mollenberg was 12th, Sarah Addington
was 13th, Karlee Hergenreder wasa 15th and Leslie Terran 17th. The boys JV only had 4 today but were led by Tom Clark's 21:25, also running
strong were Matt Sisson, Kevin Pfiefer and Jerimiah Prummer. They all turned in PR's over their previous years times.
