The three signees are Jonnie Green, a sprinter from Ephrata, Wash., Zach Smith, a sprinter from Bremerton, Wash., and Sam Levora, a distance runner from Sandpoint, Idaho.

"We are very pleased with the young men who have committed to Washington State University,” Sloan said. “Sam has shown tremendous potential with great times and will be a great addition to our cross country and distance corps next year.

Sam Levora has accumulated eight varsity letters as a distance runner at Sandpoint High in Sandpoint, Idaho. He was a four-time participant in the Idaho state 4A Cross Country Championships with 32nd and fifth place finishes as a freshman and sophomore, and back-to-back runner-up finishes as a junior and senior. Levora competed in the Nike Cross Northwest (NXN) Regional meets with 17th-place finishes in both 2012 and 2013. On the track, Levora’s state 4A Championship meet performances in include third place finishes in both the 1600m and 3200m races as a sophomore, and runner-up finishes in 1600m and 3200m races as a junior. His lifetime-best 1600m time is 4:19.30, run at the 2013 Idaho 4A-5A Regional Championships and his 3200m PR of 9:32.24 was clocked at the 2013 Pasco Invitational. He plans to pursue a history major at WSU.
