Regional Results: Day 105/10/2013
Mikhaela Woodward and Sam Levora both won the Regional Championships in the 3200 in Lewiston today, earning a trip to State for their efforts. The Volmer Bowl was about 97 degrees during the afternoon running events, which makes the 12:03.84 (PR) and 9:48.05 times even more impressive. In the girls race, Sydney Foster took 3rd with a 12:45, Claire Pierce took 4th with a 13:24.59, and Emily Marshall was 5th with a 13:32.86.
Grant Kennaly and Mark Kennaly tied in the high jump with 5'8" to get first and second, each earning their trip to State as well. The boys Medley couldn't catch Moscow, who ran a 3:34 to Sandpoint 3:39. With 1 day complete, the boys and girls are both in first place for their team scores.
