SHS Distance Impressive at Post Fall Invite

The Sandpoint Distance track squad continued showing its strength in the early season at the Christina Finney Invitational in Post Falls this Thursday. Leading the way for the girls was Sophomore Mikhaela Woodward, who placed 6th in the 1600 with a time of 5:35.28 (PR), and first in the 3200 with a 12:23.02. Also placing well for the girls were Emily Marshall and Claire Pierce in the 1600, runnning 6:00.73 and 6:01.51 for 9th and 11th places.

In the boys races, Sam Levora won the 1600 and 3200 running 4:27.58 (PR) and 9:55.79. Matt Burgstahler ran a season best 2:03.74 for a 2nd place finish in the 800.
