Levora Breaks School Record at Time Trial

Sam Levora broke the school record, running a 15:53 5k at the Time Trials today. Sam broke that old record of 16:18 set by Preston Martin in 1994. There were also 6 boys under the varsity standard (and 2 within 9 seconds of it). Tim Prummer was 2nd with an 18:49, Alan Orr 3rd with an 18:57, and rounding out the top 7 were Mark Kennaly, John Nicolich, Daryl Zavala and Jacob Graham.

The girls team continued to impress this week, landing 9 girls under the varsity standard, even without returning letterman Aubrie Perry. Mikhaela Woodard was first with a PR of 21:04, Sydney Foster was 2nd with a 21:21, followed by Emily Marshall with a 21:26, and 4 was Clair Pierce with a 21:32. Jacey Lawson ran a 22:03, Kara Bruce a 22:22, and Cymbre Martin a 22:27 to round out the top 7. Also under the standard were Corrine McClelland and Bree Jones.

This was a solid start to the season, keep it up!
