SHSXC to host Elementary XC Clinic and Race

The Sandpoint Cross Country team will be hosting a Cross Country clinic and race for Lake Pend Orielle elementary students in grades 4, 5 and 6 on Saturday October 15th at Sandpoint High School. Registration begins at 12:45, and the clinic starts at 1:00 PM. The clinic will focus on running form, pacing, warm-up/warm-down and training, and in the event of rain the clinic will be held in the High School Gym.
At the end of the clinic (roughly 1 hour), there will be a 1 mile race around the High School campus for all participants. The clinic and race will be run by the Sandpoint Cross Country athletes and coaches and is offered free of charge to all LPOSD Elementary students.
Each participant must be accompanied by a parent at registration to sign necessary paperwork, or download the form and send it signed with their child (link below).
