Silverwood Invitational09/10/2011
Sam Levora was the top Sandpoint finisher on for the boys this Saturday, running the Silverwood course in a 16:18, moving him to #2 on the all time Top 25 list. James Cartwright was next for the boys, running a 17:49. Chris Jones ran a 18:16, Matt Pfeifer a 18:39 and Tim Prummer a 19:40 to round out the boys team.
The girls team showed that the strength is in the pack, with the top 5 girls all placing within 22 seconds of each other! Aubrie Perry led the way with a 22:13 in her first Varsity race since returning from injury. Sydney Foster was next with a 22:15, Jenny VanOoyen ran a 22:17, Bree Jones a 22:19, and Becca Cloud a 22:35.
In JV Action, the girls were led by Katie Nicolich who ran the course in a blistering 22:51, earning her a spot on Varsity next week. She was followed closely by Paula Paños, Liz Kovalchuk and Devan Fitzpatrick. The boys were led by Sam Silberman who ran a 20:06, followed closely by Tim Redford in a 20:09, then Jack Carleson and Kevin Woodruff.
