Bonner Ferry Invite

The Sandpoint Boys and Girls Varsity teams both placed 2nd at the Bonners Ferry Invitational this weekend. On the boys side, Sam Levora was 2nd in the race, blazing through the dust bowl in at 18:00 minutes on the 90 degree day. Matt Pfeifer was 5th, Chris Jones 7th, and James Cartwright was 8th to round out the medaling 10.
The girls were paced by Sydney Foster, who placed 6th and finished in a 24:11. Jenny Van Ooyen was 7th, and Bree Jones was 10th. Jacey Lawson placed 1st in the JV Girls race and earned a spot on varsity with her time. Kevin Woodruff placed 2nd in the JV boys race, and John Nicolich was 4th.
